The Right Care For Your Jewelry

Do I need to take special care of my PERSN piece?

With good care, your piece is made to withstand the passing of time for generations. It is a sturdy material, but requires gentle care. This advice will allow you to carry your PERSN jewelry for many years to come:

- Take off your jewelry when playing sport, sunbathing, cleaning, or in the sauna. Sweat and dishwater could permanently damage the surface

- Protect your jewelry from contact with cosmetics, deodorants and sun cream, and generally from steam, grease and oils

- Wipe off deposits on the jewelry such as sweat and dirt with a soft cloth, ideally after every wear

How do I clean Gold correctly?

Cleaning Gold is simple, and can be done periodically to maintain a pristine piece for many years:

- Place your jewelry in a bath of warm, mild soapy water and let it sit for a minute with gentle hand massages on the surfaces

- Brush it without pressure using a soft toothbrush to agitate any deposits on its surface

- Soak the soap and grease residue away by placing the piece in a second bowl or glass of warm clean water

- Optionally, after this step, rinse any additional residues well away, using alcohol or white spirit.

- Finally, dry your jewelry with a soft cloth

Does Gold have weak spots to have in mind?

Even gold has its weaknesses:

For example, contact with chlorine or a strongly chlorinated cleaning agent may lead to discoloration.

Especially in the summer, swimming pools and beach activities can bring up discoloration of your jewelry.

Strictly speaking, in these cases it is not the gold that is responsible for the discoloration, but rather the substances in the gold alloy.

The higher the proportion of gold (e.g. 750/- gold), the more sensitive the piece of jewelry to tarnishing – in comparison to alloys, which have a greater proportion of additional metals (e.g. 375/- gold). In other words, the finer the Gold is, the more delicate it is to external agents.

How do I clean Silver correctly?

Cleaning Silver is simple, and can be done periodically to maintain a pristine piece for many years:

If your Silver piece has darkened in color despite being clean of dirt and grease, use a silver cleaning cloth or silver cleaning solution to bring back its shine. Silver cleaning solutions and cloths can be found in the cleaning section of any large supermarket.

How do I clean Diamonds correctly?

Due to their toughness, diamonds and most other transparent precious stones are quite easy to care for.

Nevertheless, they draw grease and oil from cosmetic products and should be regularly wiped with a soft damp cloth, and possibly cleaned under running water with a soft brush.


Particular attention is to be paid to removing dirt without residue from the lower bevels.

What is the process from order to delivery?

- When you finish your design of your jewelry piece and complete the checkout process, a confirmation email is sent to the email address used

- In parallel to the confirmation email, the order is sent straight to our production facility to be produced especially for you

- Your piece goes through production and assembly, passing through optional stages of stones setting, enameling, or engaving depedning on your specific design

- Once assembled, it will be sent to quality control for approval and will be ready send out to our US office

- As soon as the piece arrives in our US office, it gets personally prepped for delivery, (in case you are sending this as a gift, this is when we separate any payment information and ensure only the product is packed).

- The finished package is delivered to the courier and sent to your specified address with secure and insured delivery for you or your loved one to enjoy for many years

How long is the process from order to delivery?

You are purchasing a fine jewelry piece with the highest quality materials and finishes. Therefore, the process to create it is exclusive and custom for you. You can expect your order to be delivered between 14-17 days after purchase, a well-worth wait for a timeless piece of pure luxury

How is shipping handled?

All our pieces are shipped with insurance, tracking and security services. We have exclusive relationships with the courier companies to ensure your pieces are delivered reliably and fast.

We have a shipping flat rate across our entire page that delivers our pieces safely for $29.00 USD.

Secure Payments And Using Coupon Codes & Gift Cards

What payment methods can I use?

We offer a wide variety of payment options, accepting most large credit cards, shop, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and American Express.

I have a coupon code, how do I use it?

We do offer coupons throughout the year, especially to our newsletter subscribers.

Coupon codes are redeemable at checkout once all your products are in the cart. When you enter the code, a quick validation will confirm if it is active and applicable. Please read the terms of every coupon code carefully so that it can be applied correctly. Should you have trouble redeeming, get in touch with us at hello@persn.us and we will be happy to help where we can.

Can I add a coupon code after ordering?

After an order has been confirmed, there is no way to redeem a coupon code for that order.

Can I redeem a coupon code multiple times?

Every coupon code has specific terms and conditions.

Some are redeemable as often as you want for a certain period of time, others are one-time-use codes, redeemable only for one order.

But even a one-time code can be used for multiple products as long as they are all on the same order.

Are coupon codes combinable?

Every coupon code has specific terms and conditions that specify the details around redemption of the code. We do not offer combinable coupons by default, although exceptions may apply. There are occasions though, where a coupon code is combinable with an ongoing Sale. By subscribing to our Newsletter, you won't miss any of these occasions.

Warranty

What does the warranty cover?

We offer an extended 2 year warranty on all our pieces. The details can be found on Point 6 of our Terms of Service

Can I correct a wrong order?

We all make mistakes, of course you can correct an order, but we are tight on time given that your order is sent to production as soon as you place it. Please write us as soon as possible to hello@persn.us and we will make sure you do not get a wrong piece.

Can I cancel my order?

Although we send your order for production as soon as you place it, there is a time slot where we can still intervene. If you wish to cancel an order and you are within a 48hr window since your order was confirmed, please write us to hello@persn.us and we will ensure that we support you where needed.

Can I return my product?

Returns are allowed under specific circumstances. Given that the products are mostly custom products, made to order, there are limitations to returns. For details please refer to our Returns and Refunds section

Troubleshoot

Troubleshooting your orders

I did not receive a confirmation email

If you have placed an order and payment went through, we always send a confirmation email. If you have seemingly not received one, please check your spam folder in your email or review any filters on your email.

If the confirmation email is still missing, please write us to hello@persn.us and we will support you as good as we can.

Where is my order?

We know that you are eager to receive your order, and you can rest assured that we are working hard to get it to you. We usually send various emails during the stages of production of the piece. If you have not received anything for 10 days, please write us to hello@persn.us, including your order details (First and Last Names, Order confirmation number, date of purchase).

I am having trouble using the configurator
